I Am Number Four

Love love the book!! I love you, Number Four!
I haven’t seen the movie though. I hear good reviews on it! Bet it’s cool!! Diana Agron, is Sarah Hart in movie? Couldn’t ask for anyone better than her! She look lovely amazing!
The next book in the Lorien Legacies is The Power of Six!! I’ll get to that soon though I know Number Four won’t be in there but all about Number Seven. I don’t mind. I wanna read it soon!
Snap of the book! Check it out!
P.S. There’s a calculator in the background haha! Nice and perfect since it’s numbering we’re talking here!
There were nine. Three are dead. I Am Number Four.
Nine teenagers and their guardians are hiding on Earth… protected by a charm that means they can only be killed in numeric order, three are already dead. John Smith is Number Four. And his mortal enemies, the Mogadorian, are hunting him down.
The only way to keep off radar is to keep moving, never staying in one place for long. Finally in the firing line, all he can do is adopt the guise of a student and pray his unusual gifts—his legacies home; Planet Lorien—stay hidden long enough for him to settle into this new community.
But others seem to sense his otherness and when small-town life sucks him into its intrigues, it’s only a matter of time before his true nature is revealed. And that means there’s no space for love, friendship or a future if it means protecting not only himself, but the other five…

Desires of the Dead

Hmmm pretty good book! All I’m actually hoping for is the new character Rafe haha! The author should get him more in the story and esp now that Vi, is together with them solving murder cases in the next book, The Last Echo. He might have an ability like Violet but in a different way. To me maybe it won’t be finding ‘dead bodies’ instead, he knows where to locate people he wants to find? Haha! Sorry for my kinda-not-so-witty suggestion/imagination there lol! Anyway, check out the book!

Synopsis:

Violet can sense the echoes of those who’ve been murdered—and the matching imprint that clings to their killers. Only those closest to her know what she is capable of, but when she discovers the body of a young boy she also draws the attention of the FBI, threatening her entire way of life. As Violet works to keep her morbid ability a secret, she unwittingly becomes the object of a dangerous obsession. Normally she’d turn to her best friend, Jay, except now that they are officially a couple, the rules of their relationship seem to have changed. And with Jay spending more and more time with his new friend Mike, Violet is left with too much time on her hands as she wonders where things went wrong. But when she fills the void by digging into Mike’s tragic family history, she stumbles upon a dark truth that could put everyone in danger.

The Perks of Being A Wallflower

1st novel of Stephen Chbosky in 1999. This is the book I’m currently reading now. I’ve finished Suzanne Collins trilogy. It was really awesome and will be awesome forever! Anyway, this book is basically about what it’s like to grow up in high school. Maybe high school students like me will get to relate to character Charlie. I’ll tell you more when after reading it! Ciao! Here’s a few shot of the book!

Standing on the fringes of life offers a unique perspective. But there comes a time to see what it looks like from the dance floor. This haunting novel about the dilemma of passivity vs. passion marks the stunning debut of a provocative voice in contemporary fiction: The Perks of Being a Wallflower. This is the story of what it’s like to grow up in high school. More intimate than a diary, Charlie’s letters are singular and unique, hilarious and devastating. We may not know where he lives. We may not know to whom he is writing. All we know is the world he shares. Caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it puts him on a strange course through uncharted territory. The world of first dates and mixed tapes, family dramas and new friends. The world of sex, drugs, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, when all one requires is that perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite. Through Charlie, Stephen Chbosky has created a deeply affecting coming-of-age story, a powerful novel that will spirit you back to those wild and poignant roller coaster days known as growing up

I am reading The Perks of Being A Wallflower and there’s this sentences from the book that I felt the same way since I’m a high school student right now. Here is the sentence from the book: “He (Bill— Charlie’s advance English teacher. Somehow, I felt this teacher like my English teacher in school, Mr A. Charlie calls him Bill when they’re not in class.) also said that I should use the vocabulary words that I learn in class like “corpulent” and “jaundice”. …” “To tell you the truth, I don’t know where they are appropriate to use. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t use them. …” “But I just have never heard anyone use the words “corpulent” and “jaundice” ever in my life. That includes teachers. So, what’s the point of using words nobody else knows or can say comfortably? I just don’t understand that.” WOW. I know I’ve written a long quotes there from the book but you see, I actually sometimes DON’T UNDERSTAND teachers at all too like Charlie. The sentences that I will highlight the most is I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND. Sometimes I think about it too, you learn those words but actually in convos, you don’t really need such words, maybe for only exams/tests. It’ll be good. There are times you just can’t form a sentence with it. You know… but yeah. I can’t completely wrap my head around it. I shall stop. Hahah! "How old are you, Charlie?" "Fifteen." "What do you want to do when you grow up?" "I don't know just yet." That makes both of us, Charlie! *high fives a fictional character* hahah! :) Later i’ll check in for more! Loving this book so far! Go check it out! :) P.S. It makes you think deep with the free time you have, ponder. If Charlie was real, i can say, good questions you got! ;)

"I think it's nice for stars to do interviews to make us think they are just like us, but to tell you the truth, I get the feeling that it's all a big lie. The problem is I don't know who's lying." My opinion here is, maybe it's true... and I really think Charlie has a point and it's a good one. Let's all think about it, when we encounter things like this...obsessions. What is it that make them so popular? I think it's a good question! Go check out this book, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. Simple and good read book! ;) I know it'll be pretty a looooooong time before I get over this amazing book.
